Melissa W. Chang

Melissa concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, trust and estate administration, and charitable planned giving. As part of her estate planning practice, Melissa advises high net worth individuals and families in creating and implementing sophisticated estate plans and lifetime gift strategies to best accomplish their dispositive goals while minimizing federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Her estate and trust administration practice involves preparation of estate and gift tax returns, distribution of assets to beneficiaries, and administration of ongoing trusts. Prior to joining the firm, Melissa was an associate at Ernst & Young (EY) in their Transfer Pricing Group, where she consulted and helped large corporate clients minimize their tax burden by devising creative solutions to intricate tax issues within various transfer pricing frameworks.
