C. Alex Hahn
Alex practices in the areas of probate litigation, commercial litigation, and appellate advocacy. A noted appellate practitioner, he regularly authors amicus curiae briefs for the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He also principally authored briefs in Walter E. Fernald Corp v. Governor, 471 Mass. 520 (2015), where the Supreme Judicial Court narrowed the definition of sovereign immunity in Massachusetts, and in Tartarini v. DMR, 80 Mass. App. Ct. 217 (2012), where the Appeals Court expanded the definition of intellectual disability in Massachusetts. He is also a prolific non-fiction writer, having authored two internationally acclaimed books on the musician Prince. As an educator, Alex teaches Probate Law and Legal Technologies with Boston University’s Paralegal Certificate Program.
